The Lovely Bones

Susie's father meant that in the snow globe, the penguin was free from harm, or any other kind of distress. It was perfect because the penguin was safe and happy. Susie probably does believe that she is trapped in heaven. No, her heaven isn't perfect, she isn't entirely safe and is nowhere near happy.
